Snail Mail Club: Of fieldnotes and footprints 𓂃✍︎

Who will be writing me?
Are you ready to leave your daily life behind for a while and be pulled into the adventoures world of wildlife? Out there in the wild world is a friend of yours who is just waiting to tell you about her newest finds and which animal she made eye contact with this time. Your friend Helena is a wildlife scientist and has set out to meet as many species as possible and can't wait to tell you about how she swam with orcas, measured sharks and tracked bears. Every month she studies a new species, has a new adventure and sends you a letter to tell you all about it. In this letter you can also find her fieldnotes that contain all the amazing facts that she just had to tell you.
So, snuggle up somewhere cozy and let her whisk you away to be amazed by our beautiful world.💌
How does it work?
1. How do I get a letter?
Sign up and choose if you want to buy it for one month or buy an anual pass. This will lead you to my steady.com page. After filling out your info/doing the payment Helena knows that you want a letter as well and gets excited that there's a new member! You need to sign up before the 25th of the month for the letter to be send out in the beginning of the following month. If you buy it after that date it will automatically be for the month after next month. The letters will be send out in the beginnig of the following month.
2. How long does it take for the letter to arrive?
That depends on how fast the letter is carried to you by international and/or national post officers and is not something I can determine.
3. Can I send this as a surprise to a loved one?
Of course! Just make sure to add the right adress and add your own email so that I can send you a gift voucher for you to print out.
4. What is in the letter?
The letter comes in an specific coloured enveloped so you already get excited when getting a glimpse in your mailbox. In there is a letter that takes you far away and it is about 1-2 pages (A4) long. You will also find an art print of a hand-painted painting in it which will look like some kind of infographic about a specific animal but more like personal notes that have been out with Helena during her fieldwork. It is supposed to have a ruggished look. 15 x 20 cm on 200 gsm paper.
5. Are the facts real?
Yes! Everything that is written on the art print are real animal facts and are scientifically correct to the time that is was researched. The story of Helena will be leaned on real experiences of myself or of other wildlife scientist but she will have her own story to tell.
6. My question was not answered?
Please contact me if there are any questions unanswered.
